Civic / Community
Accessibility and user-centric planning and design are central to community based projects where social inclusion, program efficiency and cost effectiveness are paramount. Inclusive design benefits the full spectrum of users across age and ability, as well as social and cultural.
We practice beyond compliance design principals with our multidisciplinary universal design model. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and local Accessibility Regulations are designed to mitigate barriers to accessibility. Our approach goes beyond mitigation to Stigma Free Design by focusing on removal rather than mitigation of barriers to access by the full range of users of every age and ability.
